Fur Material



This Fur material is made using Shell Based Rendering and works on any mesh. It is also fully set up with multiple LODs for increased performance.This material is built using instanced static meshes, each with varying offsets from the base mesh. The offset values are used to apply an opacity multiplier, creating the layered visual effect shown here.



Cloud Material



This Cloud material uses fresnel nodes to mask edges based on the cameras position. This is then dithered and multiplied by a texture to get a fluffy effect.It can be used in many ways. Some examples include, different types of clouds (poison, healing etc) and for a cartoon style.These clouds where made to use accurate collisions. This means they can be used as platforms or in other ways of interacting.
